Communitybroadband.com Email Service

Your subscription includes optional communitybroadband.com email accounts. To request an email account, contact Community Broadband at 541-504-6600.

Click here to access email accounts via WebMail. WebMail is an online email interface accessible from any computer with a web browser and an Internet connection.

You may choose to access your email account exclusively via WebMail. If you prefer to also access your account via an email client (such as Outlook, Netscape, Eudora, etc.) you will need the following POP3 protocol mail settings:

• Incoming POP3 mail server: pop.gmail.com

• Outgoing SMTP mail server: smtp.cbbmail.com

• ACCOUNT NAME*: username@cbbmail.com
*The account name is your FULL EMAIL ADDRESS. If you are using Netscape or Eudora and you encounter a username or password error, replace the '@' sign with a '%'. (For example, change john@communitybroadband.com to john%communitybroadband.com.)

• PASSWORD: your unique password

• SECURE PASSWORD AUTHENTICATION (SPA): Unchecked

• Enable SSL on the incoming mail server (port 995)

• Enable SSL on the outgoing mail server (port 465)

• Enable username and password authentication on the outgoing server
